If you are interested in what NASA does (and NASA does veeery interesting things, I definitely agree with that), then you should try. You’d have to think about what exactly it is you’d like to do. Are you more interested in the scientific aspects (investigating other planets or so), or more in the engineering (building rockets or so), or even something completely different that they are doing? I worked with a student once who studied electronics engineering with emphasis on space science, with Bath University. This sounds like something that would get you on track for working with NASA.
Of course, being a US national agency, I don’t know whether there are any restrictions for non-US citizens for work for NASA. But there’s always the Euopean Space Agency ESA as alternative. 😉
Plus, even if you don’t make it into the space science agencies themselves, you would still have plenty of opportunity to find a job in private sector companies involved in space technology, such as satellites, rockets, even human space flight. This is certainly a field where a lot of people will be needed in the future.
