Hi Sophie, well as a theoretical physicist my super power would be to do any kind of experiment I like even ones that would be totally impossible on earth. So I would like to be able to experiment on black holes for example to see exactly how they behaved in laboratory. Or re-run the big bang to see what happened in the first few moments or even what happened before. It’s a nice idea…I’ll add it to my dreams..

I’d pick the ability to make people do what I want.
Then we’d have peace on earth, everyone would be happy
(except the kid who stole my toy car race track many years ago, of course),
I’d get promoted very quickly, I’d win “I’m a scientist, get me out of here” easily (do you already feel that mysterious urge to vote? 😉 ), and I could make Tim and Venus explain me gravity. 🙂

      Hi sophie.

Another tricky question! I’m not sure I give myself godlike superpowers: I’d probably go insane and do a lot more harm than good. I guess I’d pick the ability instantly know anything. My inventions would drive humanity into a new golden age, free of disease or poverty, and I’d avoid the whole ‘going insane with absolute power’ problem that comes with, well, absolute power.
