Hopefully a role that doesn’t involve singing, because I am notoriously bad at that and would scare away all the audience. 🙂
I could be the lighting technician, though. In a way that’s the role I am playing in particle physics in my current project anyway: taking care of the electronics that makes the results appear in their best light. 🙂

I would like to believe that I would be the heroic Leading Man who triumphs over adversity and gets the Higgs boson. In practice though, “LHC the Musical” would just have a chorus line of 6000 scientists and I’d be the one at the back.

Now there’s a thought..Einstein the stage show or maybe Steven Hawking…

I’d be in orchestra playing either guitar or drums

When I try to picture a science musical, all I can see is people trying to be particles through the medium of interpretive dance. Not something I’d like to get involved in! Maybe I could do backing vocals 🙂
