  Yes absolutely. If by world you mean the earth then we know that it’s all going to end in a few billion nears time when the sun goes supernova after it uses up all it’s nuclear fuel. Then it’s definitely over. The universe itself will keep going and expanding. In fact it will expand faster and faster. All the matter will become very dilute and cold leading to a boring future known as heat death. Sorry about that….so enjoy it while you can….
