Actually my main goal is little bit selfish because I just want to understand how things work at the basic level. If I don’t understand something it bugs me and I have to keep picking away at it till I do. Fortunately someone pays me to do this….how nice is that.

Along the way though I have realised that communicating the subject to others is very important and satisfying and that’s what I am trying to do here!

My main goal is to do add something to the sum total of all human knowledge. Sounds a bit grand, but that is after-all what I’m paid to do! I also have a strong desire to talk about science to non-scientists and get them enthusiastic about it.

I just want to have an interesting life. 🙂
(Which is not necessarily much different from what Tim and Zachary say, because learning to understand how things work can make quite an interesting life.)
