Oh, definitely! To some extent (though far from perfect) that has already been done. Simple examples are the professional flight simulators used for training pilots. Other examples are virtual reality environments with glasses and so on. The catch is, these things are very expensive and big so far, and we’d have to work on that. Possibly with a brain-computer-interface?
yes I think so…actually I already find some of the racing car games very immersive and realistic….just wait when we all get wireless internet access implants in our head!
There’s no physical reason why we can’t make more and more immersive virtual reality games, I’m sure they’ll turn up eventually, hopefully before I’m an old man who doesn’t like video games!
